Lila and Lola x IXXI

Hello! Meet Lila and Lola. This creative duo is mum Lola and daughter Lila. Together, they create contemporary art inspired by the lush green of their home, the picturesque state of Victoria in richly-forested Australia. Cute portraits of animals and illustrations of natural elements are the essential features of Lila and Lola's work.

Inspired by nature
Lila and Lola live in Australia's Alpine region, surrounded by green. The pair take road trips in their little vintage caravan, constantly finding new inspiration in the ever-changing features of the mountainous landscape. It's no wonder that elements taken from nature and images of animals feature in most of the Lila and Lola print collection. But it's not just the natural world that's a huge source of inspiration for this duo; motherhood gave Lola an inspirational new outlook on life too. That strengthened her drive to create… and the Lila and Lola brand was born.





Photography, design and painting
Lila and Lola blur the boundaries between photography, graphic design and painting. By applying a variety of techniques, the duo comes up with the most surprising combinations and results. The subjects of their images are usually flora and fauna, but even more important than that is the way they radiate positivity. And the little town where Lola was born just happens to be called Bright! One thing's for sure: Lila and Lola's prints are sure to cheer up both you and your home!
