Tip 4: The best position for taking your summer photos

How often do you take a photo from eye level? Often, right? It seems the easiest, after all. But try to vary in terms of position, because it gives you a great mix of different holiday photos.  From above, from inside a tent, from a distance or in contrast from below. It’s all possible! Explore the tips from Reisjunk.nl (who are definitely experts in this area) and grab your camera. Ready, set: shoot!

Transport in all shapes and sizes
While traveling you often encounter different modes of transport and use them to get yourself from A to B. A boat, car, bus, bike or even on horseback. Instead of desperately trying to leave your mode of transport out of the photo, it’s actually nice to include it. As you can see, the photos of Reisjunk were taken from different perspectives and are very varied as a result.

This is a tip for the go-pro owners among us: get a fifty-fifty dome. This way you can photograph above and under water. Guaranteed to create a unique shot!

A level horizon
This golden tip from Reisjunk is really very simple but at the same time the most common mistake. “Make sure the horizon is level when you take the photo. It literally takes you a second to check before you click and immediately makes your photo look ten times better. You can still crop your photo and level the horizon later, but then part of the photo will be gone. And that's a shame!" So whatever position you choose; always make sure you have a (yes, you guessed it) level horizon!

Flying high!
Maybe you don't have one in your closet as standard, but a drone enables you to capture really cool images. The world is so big (and you're suddenly so small) when you see yourself in a drone shot. Reisjunk took the most beautiful landscape photos with a drone. Are you going on vacation for a week and don't want to buy a drone for such a short time? Then just rent one. Fly and shoot :)

From above
To take a good shot from above, a drone is not necessarily a must-have. You can also play drone and create height yourself. Climb onto a rock (careful!) and take a downward shot. Or stretch as high as you can and point your camera downwards. Take a look at how Reisjunk does it:

Personal space
No matter how cozy it is: not everyone is happy with a camera in their face. Take the appropriate distance and don’t just photograph someone's nose but also the beautiful landscape. “It can sometimes be fun to get someone to walk in the landscape or stand still in front of a beautiful view. This shows you even more how big the mountains are in the background or how wide the beach actually is," says Reisjunk.
